Lunar Eclipse

Tonight was a total lunar eclipse. Here in Florida it was at 10:50 so at about 10:40 I went outside with my camera, found the moon which was already half red, and then attempted to take pictures of it. We just got a new camera so I couldn't figure out everything on it, let's just say my pictures didn't turn out to well. I probably could have sat there and watched it all night but my neck started getting kinked. But it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen. The next one is December 21 2010...hopefully I get my camera figured out by then.

On a side note...early this morning I was getting ready and I heard this huge BOOM! It sounded like someone's house got blown up or something. So me and Gio were looking out the window to see what exploded and we saw some of our neighbors doing the same thing. Tonight at Young Women's they were asking who heard the rocket land...Ha ha...I really thought it was a terrorist attack or something. But, if it was that loud here in little Babson Park, I wonder how loud it was where ever it landed, which had to be at least an hour away.

I tried to wake Mason to come look at it, scientist that he is, but he was just so groggy he didn't remember anything about it the next day. He'll just have to catch the next one. Rachel
