10 years ago.....
Feb 1998....Freshman in my 2nd semester at BYU living in the dorms.
My favorite classes were Music 116 - Intro into Guitar and Geology 101, me and my buddy Josh Haskett took those together. I played on a INTRAMURAL COED INNERTUBE WATER POLO TEAM and won the championship... the coolest part was that my dad even flew out to watch the game and took half of my dorm floor to Brick Oven... I thought that I was really cool then. Everyone knew me as the guy with the GIOBYU license plate vehicle and my alter ego Rick was the night owl that would always be goofing off.

(Walter Foster, Silvio, Marco, Me, and Josh Brannen)
Later on in 1998 I decided to go on a mission.
5 things to do on my list today....
1. Early morning Seminary - Scripture Mastery Day
2. Lunch with Jess and the Baby
3. Appointment with a client at 3pm
4. Open a checking account at the community bank
5. Date Night... Juno, maybe
Snacks I enjoy....
Jessica, Alessandra's cheeks, Grape Juice, granola bars, homemade bread, green whole olives, sun chips, but anyone that knows me ... knows that will try anything that is put in front of me except for my dad's inventions.
What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire....
Money is bad. PAY TITHING & TAXES first... Buy a nice piece of land maybe on a lake and build a HOUSE!!! Buy a vehicle for Jess, create a trust for my kids, invest in the market and some in real estate.
Start a Troubled Youth Center, give back to those who have helped me (mom & silvio especially) and I would try and develop a concept that has stuck in my mind since returning from Italy in 2001 of an Italian themed Villaggio. Also, I would love to build one of those state of the art fields like they have at BYU!
Travel to 70 different countries in my lifetime... that is my dream.
3 of my bad habits....
1. Jess says that I snore
2. I get distracted easily (i like to call it Semi-Selective A.D.D.)
3. I always forget to floss
Places I have lived ....
1. Babson Park, Florida
2. Provo, Utah
3. Italy (Gela, Bagheria, Agrigento, Bari)
5 jobs that I have had....
1. Sales Rep, Delta
2. Proctor Parent/Guardian, Pyramid Youth Services & Crossroads
3. Accounts Receivable/Landscape/Driver/Website/Graphics/Marketing/Guy they call when something doesn't work, Bountiful Lands Inc.
4. Large Scale Events, Capo Productions
5. Financial Advisor, Salud & Associates
5 thing people don't know about me
1. I got banned from Denny's in Provo as a Freshman
2. I raised $5,000+ for charities & non-profit organizations in 2 years
3. I missed a $10,000 field goal kick by inches
4. I founded the Fratelli Italian Club at BYU
5. I applied for the CIA after I graduated
I tag NO one

That is awesome that you got banned from Denny's, what did you do, dude?
Wow, the memories. I haven't thought about freshman year in a long time!
That was so fun! Thanks for sharing and why didn't I think of putting Trevor as one of my favorite snacks? That was great!

That was great. I love green olives too--I haven't found anyone that likes green olives like I do. Also I am so happy you didn't go the CIA route.
Ok...so besides Jess and maybe your parents...Walter and I know you pretty well!! Funny I knew most of those things about you...weird...Love the pictures...the good ol' days when you guys were young, skinny, fit...I mean you still are but....
Gio! Your family is adorable! And looking at that picture of you, Mikey, and Tom takes me back 10 years! I can hardly believe it's been that long!
