Sew What?

Yay!! My mom mailed my sewing machine that her and my dad gave me for Christmas. I got it all set up and ready to go. It is a Bernina. My mom says that Bernina is the "Cadillac" of sewing machines. I took a class when I was out in Utah, and remember some of the information, but when I tried to sit down and sew...ALOT of things went wrong. I kept calling my mom for help, so until I get the hang of sewing she will most likely be number 1 on my speed dial.

You are one lucky girl, Jess! I'm trying hard not to covet here, but it's hard. Yes, Bernina's are the best, and always have been. My Bernina is probably a 1978 model, and while it doesn't do anyting fancy, it is a little "workhorse" and never quits on me. You may have to find a Bernina dealer out in FL and take another class though, it's hard to remember everything. Rachel

The sewing machine looks ready for use. I for sure would look on the internet to see the closest Bernia store. You would love taking a few classes. There are so many things it can do
